Vincent Scott Gomez, 11 months old, completed his flight at the Amplatz Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Vincent Scott was born in Port Arthur, Texas on June 6, 2013. Vincent led a valiant fight with MPS1 Hurler Syndrome. He was a warrior that led him to be a Super Hero as his flight took him over the rainbow. In his short flight he blessed and united his whole family and numerous friends and supporters with super strength to soar with him. His strength united many in a common cause for caring and believing in others. Super Hero Services will be on Saturday May 24, 2014 at the Carbon County Funeral Home at 11:00 am in Rawlins, Wyoming. He will be placed to rest in the family plot at Reader Cemetery in Savery, Wyoming by family members. Vincent Scott is survived by parents, Elsbeth (Beth) Lynnette Dodgson and Javel Gomez; brother, Damien Gomez; sister, Athena Gomez; grandparents, Steven Scott and Holley Annette (Dodgson) Nicholson, and Javier and Maria Gomez; uncles, Steven Milo Nicholson, Austin Scott (Ashley Milliken) Nicholson, Jeremiah Scott Nicholson, Javier (Dora) Gomez, Joel (Melissa) Gomez and Rudy Granados; many cousins; great-grandfather, Edward Milo Nicholson; great-grandmother, Charlotte Ann (Scherbinske) Dodgson; great-uncle, William (Korki) Dodgson Jr.; great-aunts, Diana Gomez, Nicole Rene (George) Nicholson, Nola (Smith) Nicholson, Cathy Ann Dodgson (Markos) and Mary Selina (Thomas) Brady; and numerous family and friends. Vincent Scott was preceded in death by great-grandmother, Marlene Kay (Shurigar) Nicholson; great-uncle, Anthony Wayne Nicholson; great-grandfather, William Whittym Dodgson; and great-aunts, Cindy LuAnn (Dodgson)Laffety and Candy Irene (Dodgson)Layton.
