Vicky Lynn Hannum, age 68, of Rawlins, Wyoming passed away on April 20, 2015 with her family at her bedside. Vicky was born on July 31, 1946 in Bedford, Indiana to Herbert and Phyllis Thompson. Vicky attended school and graduated from Shawswick High School in 1964 and soon married her husband of 50 years, Roger Hannum, on November 14, 1964. Vicky was a switchboard operator for Indiana Bell and later worked for Rocky Mountain Bell, when the family moved to the Rocky Mountains. Her true passion was being a mother and homemaker for her family and husband. She enjoyed crafts, spending time with her family, baking and tending to her garden. Vicky will be remembered as the organizer of the family; she was loving, compassionate and was the foundation of the Hannum home. Survivors include her husband, Roger Hannum; son, Scott Hannum and his wife, Beverly; daughter, Mandi Hannum and her boyfriend, Luke Humphrey; brother, Brian Thompson and Geri; and aunt, Cathy Stewart and her husband, Larry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Phyllis Thompson and her brother, Ron Thompson. Cremation has taken place and the family will be holding a private service at a later date.
