It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Trisha Leann Hunter, born Warren, on November 26, 2024, in Rawlins, Wyoming, at the age of 60. Trisha was born on November 24, 1964, in Evanston, Wyoming, to her loving parents, Judith and Lee Warren, who shaped her early years with care and guidance.
Trisha faced many challenges in life but demonstrated remarkable resilience and faith. In her later years, she returned to the Lord, embracing His grace, and living her final days with peace and purpose. Her faith brought her immense strength, and she was deeply moved by the words of Matthew 18:12-14:
“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish”
Trisha’s love for her family was at the heart of who she was. She cared deeply for her daughters, Mandi Smith, Megan Smith, and Melody Lopez (Victor Lopez), and her greatest joy was her grandchildren: Destiny Thill, Tayshia Safford, Annalee Ortega, Jayla Thill, Haidyn Safford, Michael Barnett, Amelia Lamprecht, Everleigh Lamprecht, and Nolyn Lopez. She often embraced other children in the family as her own, filling their lives with warmth, acceptance, and love.
Trisha was also a beloved sister to Debbie Harris (David Harris) and Scott Warren (Jessica Warren). While life didn’t always bring them close, they were bound by shared history and the love of family. Trisha carried a quiet appreciation for her siblings and the unique role they each played in her life’s story.
Trisha shared a special bond with her husband, Donald Dean Hunter Jr. In their final years together, their companionship blossomed into a tender and loving marriage. They supported one another with unwavering devotion, showing what it truly means to love and care for someone unconditionally.
She also had a deep love for her pets, who were her faithful companions and brought her endless joy. Her home was a place where all could feel welcomed and loved, a reflection of her kind and generous spirit.
Her life was a journey of transformation and grace, marked by an enduring love for her family, her faith, and her Savior. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her.
A service celebrating Trisha’s life will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Sinclair Baptist Church located in Sinclair Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sinclair Baptist Church.
She is now at peace, embraced by her Savior and reunited with those who have gone before her. Her legacy of love and faith will remain in the hearts of all who loved her.
