Stacy Jochim Fritz, 52, left her family and friends on January 1, 2014, when she passed away in Alva, Oklahoma. Stacy was born in Denver, Colorado in 1961. She graduated from Rawlins High School in Rawlins, Wyoming in 1979. She attended college in Casper, WY and received her associate degree in business administration. Stacy made her first home in Golden, Colorado where she worked at FDIC for many years. It was here that she gave birth in 1990 to the absolute light of her life, Dakota Sky Becker. Dakota became her world and for the next 24 years he was the center of her being. Her family then moved to Morrison, CO where Stacy worked at Red Rocks Elementary School. This gave her the opportunity to spend more time with Dakota. She remained in Morrison, CO until 2008. She enjoyed helping others, cooking, baking delicious healthy snacks, hiking, running, biking, spoiling her son and her nieces and nephews during the summer months when they came to visit. On August 28, 2008, Stacy married Steve Fritz and again made Rawlins, WY her home. She worked with Steve for the next 5 years to expand F & S Trucking. They spent time in Pennsylvania and were currently in Alva, Oklahoma. Stacy and Steve were a cohesive partnership in many ways. They had a very strong relationship and loved each other deeply. They enjoyed working and doing everything together. She lived life to the fullest over the last five years. Stacy will be remembered as a devoted mother, daughter, sister, wife, aunt, grandmother and friend. She spent her entire life to ensure that those around her were taken care of. She enjoyed life to the fullest and had an endless amount of energy and love. Stacy touched the lives of so many people in so many ways that it cannot be measured or counted. Her presence in so many lives has been amazing. Stacy is survived by her son, Dakota Sky Becker; her husband Steve Alan Fritz; her father, Marvin Gene Jochim, and her sisters, Wendy (Mike) McNaney and Marvelle (Ken) Collins; nieces Cheyanne, Brianna and Reata; nephews,Tyler and Latigo. Stacy is also survived by 3 stepsons, Josh, Chris, Stevie, and their families. She has also inherited numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and six grandchildren. All of whom she loved dearly! A service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Rawlins, WY on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. A memorial fund has been set up in Stacy's name to be used for a memorial project and to contribute to the American Diabetic Association.
