Shirley Harnden

Shirley Sue Harnden , resident of Saratoga, Wyoming, passed away on January 18, 2021 at her home at the age of 65.

She was born on November 13, 1955 to Edgar and Juanita Haycock in Hanna, Wyoming.  Where she lived and grew up with her three sisters; Karen Kitchen, Virginia Davis, and Lori Gordon.  She graduated from Hanna/Elk Mountain High School in 1975.  She moved to Laramie, Wyoming, and went to the University of Wyoming for a short period of time until she met Malvin Harnden and married in 1976. They had one child, Malvin Lee Harnden and lived in Hanna until 1982 when they moved to Rock River, Wyoming.  Shirley divorced in 1992 and moved back to Hanna, Wyoming, then moved to Saratoga, Wyoming where she lived until her passing.

Shirley worked as a Home Healthcare provider in Rock River, Wyoming; a security guard for Arch Seminoe 2 mine in Hanna, Wyoming; and a CNA at the Saratoga Nursing Home.

She will be sadly missed by her son Malvin Lee Harnden; one sister Lori Gordon, four step-grandchildren, one step-great grandchild, three nephews, and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Juanita Haycock; her sisters Karen Kitchen and Virginia Davis.
