Shirley H. Gilpin, 71, of Rawlins, passed away May 19, 2012, at the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE, surrounded by her family. Shirley married Noah Gilpin on April 25, 1963, and began their life together. She was a wonderful homemaker, always putting her family first. She will be remembered as always having a wonderful smile, a joke or two, and always crying when reading a card from anyone and saying how blessed she was. Her interests included camping, fishing, word find puzzles, puzzles, and making amazing holiday dinners and decorating at Christmas, her favorite time of year. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Noah Gilpin; parents, Lee Harley and Irene May Strayer; brothers, Ross Moore and Harley Isaac Strayer; sister, Evelyn; grandchildren, Richard and Lester Lee Fisher; great-grandchildren, Noah and Elijah Gabryel Gilpin; and son-in-law, Scott Baldwin. She is survived by her daughters, Sharlene Baldwin of Nebraska, Shelly (Alfred Archuleta) Fisher of Rawlins and Cheryl (Randy) Rodabaugh of Rawlins; grandchildren, Alexis, Angelia, Juneil, Noahlene, David, Shawn, Cody, Ivalynn, Chenoea, Crystal, Coretta, and Jesse Ray; great-grandchildren, Taurus, Richlin, Nicholas, and Nikko; sister-in-law, Pearl Elwood Byrd of Mesa, Ariz.; special friends, Bill and Georgia Roush, Carol Briggs, Kathreen Logan, Marie Johnson, Russell Brubaker, and Mary Mansfield; and numerous other relatives and friends.
