A longtime resident of Rawlins WY; Rosemary Wells took her final walk March 6, 2014 to live with Jesus. She was born Nov. 7, 1915 in Bainbridge Illinois to Grover C. Vancil and Lyda Briggs Vancil. She grew up in Rushville Ill., and was one of two children. Rosemary met the love of her life and married Robert B. Wells in Amarillo, Texas in 1949 and moved from Rushville, Ill to the wild west of Bondurant, WY. They later moved to Rawlins, WY, where she became one of the best piano teachers in town. They later retired to Bondurant, WY, moved to Casper, WY for a few years before finally moving back to live in Rawlins. She never saw a stranger in the crowd, and could walk in a room not knowing a soul, and leave with many friends. Music was a huge part of her life as she never quit teaching other's how to play and could shake the walls with her boogie-woogie! Her life goal; if she could tell you was watching her daughters grow up and welcoming her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family was always first on her list of important things and of course that included her husband of 53 years. Rosemary's sense of humor was evident in her sweet smile and laugh to the end of her life. She was quick to add a comment to a conversation and could laugh from her heart when joked with. She was a wonderful person and a joy to know and had the ability to love you as her own. She is survived by her four daughters, Kathy (Bob) Lindner from Cecil, WI; Julie Capozzoli of Rawlins, WY; Janet Hellman (Tony) of Casper, WY; and Jeanne Martinez (Seymour) of Rawlins, WY; grandchildren Royce Lindner, Danica Musgrave Sveda, Star Ray, Tom Ray, Monique Crain, Eddie Martinez, Steven Hellman, 12 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert; her parents; a brother Vasser Vancil; grandson Justin Musgrave; granddaughter Ilop'cha Ray; great grandson Tahwoncha Crain and son-in-law Rocky Capozzoli. Services will be conducted at a later time in Bondurant WY.
