Robert Kimball Hartley of Saratoga, Wyoming passed away peacefully at home Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Robert was born June 7, 1955, in Lancaster California, to John and Virginia Hartley. Virginia married Ralph Crow in 1962 and they moved to Ryan Park, Wyoming, where Robert grew up with his three brothers Dave, John, and Pete Crow. He graduated from Saratoga High School in 1973.

In his lifetime, Robert enjoyed floating on any river, hunting, fishing, being an outdoor guide, playing cribbage, and the times he spent with friends and family.

Robert and Abi were married in Saratoga on July 6, 2013, and spent 11 incredible years together. Robert loved his Harley and they took many wonderful road trips visiting family and friends and enjoying God’s country.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and all three Crow brothers. He is survived by the love of his life and best friend Abigail, his sister Gloria Hartley, brother Richard Hartley, daughters Brehan (Eric) Newell, Chelsea (Shad) West, Kimbra Taggart, stepson Riley Sandilands, granddaughters Macee and Bralee Newell, Megan West, Hayley Hulme, many nieces and nephews, and his best friend and companion Sprocket. 

There will be a Celebration of Life at the American Legion in Saratoga on October 19 at 2PM.  Robert’s ashes will be buried at the Saratoga Cemetery at a later date.
