Robert Lee "Frosty" Frost, 62, of Rawlins passed away Oct. 22, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. He was born Feb. 22, 1953 in Columbus, NE to parents Flora Alene (Mead) and John Searle Frost. He grew in Columbus, NE and then moved to Temagami, Ontario to live with relatives. It was there he met his future wife, Sharon, who used a slingshot to shoot rocks at him. The couple was later married in Canada. He then became a welder, and then supervisor, at Behlen's Manufacturing in his hometown of Columbus, NE. He enjoyed fishing and being on the water, telling stories, music, playing the guitar and writing, including poetry. He was dearly loved by his children and grandchildren, who he enjoyed spending time with and doing anything he could for them. Survivors include his wife, Sharon S. Frost; daughters, Pamela (Brad) Bannon and Michelle (John) Olson; brother, John Frost; sisters, Patty Muller, Sherry Snoad, Bonnie Sohl and Debbie Love-Franz; 11 grandchildren, Marina Bannon, Brandy Bannon, Mishela Frost, Shelby Deja, Tisha Bannon, Shyanna Sobek, Simon Frost, Bobby Bannon, Terry Drake, Connie Olson and Sophia Olson; one great-grandchild, Markis Bean; and two more great-grandchildren on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janet Schrier. No services are scheduled at this time.
