Ricky Brazell

Ricky M. Brazell, 60, of Rawlins, passed away Oct. 3, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 23, 1954 in Craig, CO to parents Maida (Kratzer) and Richard F. Brazell. He was raised in Baggs, WY on the family farm. In 1986, he was employed by Rissler & McMurray, where he worked for the majority of 25 years. At the time of his passing, he was a Mine Manager for McMurray Ready Mix. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene; daughters, Wendy (Daron) Shelp, Jessica Brazell Packard and Nancie (Ryan) Moore; son, John (Jenn) Sonneman; brothers, Dan (Malou) Brazell and Bill Brazell; sister, Deb Kratzer; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will take place on Sat. Oct. 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carbon County Funeral Home in Rawlins. Pastor Steve Monroe of Victory Baptist Church will officiate. Honorary Pallbearers are Don Nichols, Tanner Nichols, Roger Hildenbrand, Ervin Smith, George Demarce, Stan Bugg, Rob Jongsma and Ron McMurray. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Brazell's memory to the Ricky M. Brazell Memorial Fund, c/o Rawlins National Bank, P.O. Box 100, Rawlins, WY 82301.
