Raymond “Butch” Albert Bateman born November 28, 1948 left this earth on November 14, 2023.
During his life Butch served in the Army and fought for his country in the Vietnam War. Butch was very proud of earning his Wyoming Pioneer Status after years of enjoying what he does best in a state that he loves including Cowboying, Fishing, Camping and Ranch Life. His dog was his partner in all his outdoor adventures. Along with caring for his furry friend, he was a great brother to his Siblings, and a great father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Although they are not his children by blood Butch cherished Julie, Heath and Jimmy and loved them whole-heartedly as his own.
Surviving Sibling Virgina Doggett, Vicky Bateman, Jackie Bateman, Susan Campana Martellaro and Charles Bateman
Surviving are his children Julie Nichols and husband Lee, Heath Peden, and Jimmy Peden. Grandchildren, Kayla and Colton. Great Grandchildren, Kit, Adilynn, and Jax.
Several Nieces and Nephews who will miss their Uncle Bucky.
As Butch will be going home to be with his family which proceeded him in death Grandma and Grandpa William and Mary Bateman, Mother and Father Helen Campana and Wayne Bateman, Sister Judy Jeske, Uncle Albert and Aunt Lorraine Bateman. He will also be meeting several great friends he has made in his life.
Hanna was Butch’s home he loved the people in the town and thought of them as family one of his favorite place’s was Ding Dan’s Bar where he would tell people if you want to get ahold of me call the Bar and leave a message if I want to talk to you, I will call you back.
Butch will be greatly missed and will always be loved by everyone who knew him.
