Quentin Joseph Romero, age 22 of Rawlins, Wyoming passed February 14, 2025, in Sweetwater County, Wyoming in a horrific accident. He was born June 19, 2002, in Irvine, California.
Quentin graduated from Rawlins High School in 2020, where he excelled at football, basketball and indoor track. He continued his education at LCCC and University of Wyoming while enlisted in the Army National Guard with the rank of SPC/E4 attached to the 115th field artillery BRI achieving the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon. He was also a fire control specialist and attended basic combat training.
He was employed at HF Sinclair as an operator.
Quentin was the best son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend. If you had the privilege of knowing him, you would understand. He would light up the room with his contagious, charming smile that was attached to his quick-witted personality.
Quentin’s passion for the outdoors was second to none. He developed his passion for the outdoors at a young age trying to follow in his father’s footsteps.
His proudest accomplishments were serving his country and becoming an uncle.
Quentin had a multitude of hobbies which included sports, hunting, riding motorcycles and side by sides, boating, wake boarding and fishing. He was an adrenaline junky that was subpar at golf.
Quentin is survived by his father, Joe (wife Amy) Romero, mother, Maria Naranjo, partner Chris Link, sisters, Quriss Romero, Brittney (husband Eric) Sampedro and Bristol Buckingham, Grandparents, Celes “Papo” (wife Tami) Romero, Andres (wife Rosa) Naranjo, nieces, Kingsley Krening, Eleanor Sampedro, nephew, Camden Sampedro and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Isabelita Pacheco-Romero, Josefina Valencia and Jesus Romero.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Jeffrey Center in Rawlins, Wyoming.
