Orville Frederick Kluver, 84, of Rawlins, WY passed away Dec 29, 2015 at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation in Rawlins, WY. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Carbon County Funeral Home in Rawlins, WY with Sharon Langfeldt of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Rawlins Cemetery. Orville was born December 20, 1931 in Lake View, IA to parents Ida E. (Lamaak) and Rickie Kluver. Orville was married to Winifred Davis on January 9, 1952, and to this union six children were born: Kay, Anna, Chrys, Jenell, Jim, and Mark. He served as Sargent for two years at Fort Hood in Texas and worked as a mechanic and owner of Westside Motors in Rawlins. In June of 1971, he married Marie Gonzales, gaining a son, Patrick. He had a deep love and adoration for Marie. He enjoyed his work and was proud of the house he built. Survivors include his children, Dorothy (Kay) Kluver of Sioux City, IA, Anna Hime (Tom) of Onawa, IA, Chrys Cloud (Steve) of Sioux City IA, Jenell O'Connor of Onawa, IA, Jim Kluver (Betty) of Sioux City, IA, Mark Kluver (Pam) of Danbury, IA and Pat Aufrance (Frances) of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren, great-grandchild and great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Don (Caroline) Kluver of Storm Lake IA and Ray Kluver of Pheonix AZ; three brothers-in-law, Ross Thevenot of Wall Lake IA, Leroy Gonzales of Rawlins, WY and Pat Gonzales of Rock Springs, WY; and two sisters-in-law, Beverly Cruz and Vicki of Cheyenne, WY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; his parents; and a sister, Shirley.
