Norma Jean Jennings, 81, passed away Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in Rawlins, WY.

Norma was born on July 5th, 1943, in Bastrop, Texas to John Clarence and Margaret Sjogren. Norma grew up and received her education in Rawlins, Wyoming. On June 17, 1966, Norma married Hugh Jennings in Kiowa County, Colorado. After short stints in Nebraska and Montana, the couple made their home and raised their children in Rawlins, Wyoming. Norma enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her kids and grandkids. She loved the outdoors and spending time at the family cabin that Hugh built. She loved Wyoming and very adamantly insisted that it was “God’s Country”. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, and visiting with family and friends that would stop by to see her.

Norma is survived by her three children, Michael (Kim) Jennings, Michelle (Kebin) Haller, and Darrin (Val) Jennings. Grandchildren, Brandon (Hannah) Fullmer, Jordan (Tanner) Dobrenz, Trey (Sarah) Jennings, Aubrey (Ryan) Roybal, Jaida Jennings, Eric Risha, Tyler (Rachael) Risha, Nicholas Haller and Brehan (Tyrone) Jaure. One sister, Myrna (Chet) Carson, two brothers, John (Betty) Sjogren and Ronnie (Shelly) Sjogren. Great grandchildren, Rhett Roybal, Waylon Fullmer, Tristan, Emily and Lincoln Jaure. Several nieces, nephews and other family members.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband, Hugh Jennings, and an infant child, Lawrence Jennings. Half siblings, Bill Steele and Jerry Steele, Sr.
