Marilyn Kay Woodward, 63, of Rawlins passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. She was born on October 8, 1953 in Coffeyville, Kansas. On August 16, 1972, at the young age of 18, Marilyn married the love of her life, Gary Woodward. Together they raised their two beautiful girls in a house full of happiness and love. Marilyn had many loves in her life, but none more important than her family. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother were the things that made her the woman we all grew to love. She loved her job as the "Mean ol' lunch lady". She truly treasured her kids at RMS, past and present. She loved knitting and crocheting and surprising special friends with her beautiful creations! She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Gary Woodward of Rawlins; their two beautiful girls, Candice (Robert) Zumbrennen and their two boys, Alec and Bradley and Sheri (Shane) Pickering and their two boys, Liam and Matthew, all of Green River; her father-in-law, Bill Woodward and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. The family has chosen a family celebration of life later this summer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her honor be made to a favorite children's charity.
