Margaret (Peg) Lucille Anderson-Bruce, 76, of Elk Mountain, Wyoming, passed away on November 24, 2022 at her home in Elk Mountain.
Peg was born in Hanna, Wyoming to Charles and Alice Anderson on December 27, 1945. She attended high school at Hanna Elk Mountain and graduated in 1965. She worked various jobs over the years including being the first head cook at the Elk Mountain Senior Center. She loved gardening, especially growing roses. A hard-working woman, Peg could never sit still for very long. “We are wasting daylight” she would be heard saying. She had an infectious laugh and always found the bright side of any situation. Many people describe their friendship with her as “comfortable”. She always made people feel welcome.
Peg is survived by her daughters, Stacey Strick of Elk Mountain, Wyoming, Dana Bruce of Rawlins, Wyoming and Bonni Bruce of Elk Mountain, Wyoming. She has four grandchildren, Scott Strick, Erin Lien, Jake Henry, and Kya Bruce, and one great grandchild Hadley Henry. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bruce and her son, Bobbie Bruce as well as her parents, Charles and Alice Anderson.
Peg specifically requested that no formal services be held. However, a small ceremony may be held at a later date.
