Louise Smith, age 91, passed away on March 18, 2023, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in Rawlins, Wyoming. She was born on October 22, 1931, in Denver, Colorado to Shelby and Ruth Case.
Louise moved from Denver to Kentucky where she spent her childhood years. Later, the family returned to Denver where Louise spent her teenage years. On February 25, 1950, she married Anthony English. Together they had 2 children, Gary and Linda and raised their family in Denver, Colorado. They later divorced in 1976 after raising their children.
Louise was a “jack of all trades” and had many occupations including maid services, new construction cleaning and answering service operator. In May of 1988, Louise married David Smith, but they divorced in 1997.
Louise is survived by her two children, Gary English and his wife Becky and Linda Cole and her husband Glen; four grandchildren, Jeremy English, Ashley Morgan and her husband Trent, Yvette Arechiga and her husband Elias and Shawna Harrell and her husband Wesley; seven great grandchildren, Abby, Savery, Cayden, Kennedi, Julyanna, Tony and Gabriel; nephews, Steve and Orin and nieces, Patty, Gayle, Doris, Shelva and Debbie and a multitude of great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Ruthelle Case; sisters, Nelia, Vivie, and Polly; a niece, Peggy; her first husband Tony English; as well as her K-9 kids, Scarlett, Chula and Zimba.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Casada Funeral Home chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Louise’s memory to a charity of your choice.
