Lorraine June Harvey

     Lorraine June Harvey, age 84, passed away on August 7, 2024 in Rawlins, WY after a long illness. She was born on February 15, 1940 in Rawlins to Adla and Gilbert Peterson. 

     Lorraine was a graduate of Rawlins High School. She married William Thomas “Tom” Harvey in February 1966 in Las Vegas, NV. Lorraine was a woman of great faith. A member of Christ Lutheran Church for over 80 years, Lorraine served in many capacities. She sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and served in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She enjoyed baking, various crafts, and playing bridge with friends. 

     She was preceded in death by her husband Tom. 

     She is survived by their two daughters, Paula Conger of Denver, CO and Linda Madole of Rawlins, WY; son-in-law Jeremy Conger; and grandson Ryan Madole of Reno, NV.  

     A funeral will be held at 10:00am on Friday, August 16 at Christ Lutheran Church in Rawlins. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Bank of Commerce in Rawlins.
