Leslie Ernest "Les" Firkins, resident of Rawlins, WY, passed away on March, 31, 2015. He was born August, 3, 1962 in Colorado Springs, CO to Ernestine Marie (Retzlaff) Fullner and Henry Elven Firkins. Leslie worked for the Gazette Telegraph and Kelly Cable and later did many odd jobs for friends, family, and neighbors in need. He was the most kind-hearted of people; he would share anything he had with someone in need. He would even open his home to a stray animal. His daughters enjoyed sharing his life full of creatures of all shapes and sizes. There were bunnies, chickens, snakes, lizards, ferrets, turtles, crayfish, piranha, a sugar glider, and of course, cats and dogs; we had a menagerie. Leslie is survived by two daughters, Brandy R. Taylor and Rachel M. Bulens; two grandchildren; his mother; two brothers, Paul Firkins and Elven L. Firkins; and the mother of his children, Tamara "Tammy" (Blinn) Flecksteiner. He was preceded in death by his father, H. Elven and a brother, Cecil Firkins. No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Leslie's memory to Serenity Springs Wildlife Center at http://www.serenityspringswildlife.org/ or mail to:Serenity Springs Wildlife Center, P.O.
