Lenore Roby

Lenore Frances Roby, 76, of Rawlins, passed away Nov. 11, 2013, at her residence. Lenore was born Nov. 20, 1936, in Hanna, WY to parents Jessie Margaret (Benedict) and Doc Tolin. She grew up in Hanna and then attended the University of Wyoming, where she met Benn Roby. They were married on Mar. 22, 1957. She worked the majority of her life as a waitress. After retiring, she joined the Foster Grandparents program and devoted herself to mentoring and caring for children. She enjoyed collecting teddy bears and was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of over 38 years, Benn Roby. Survivors include four children: Shauna (Doug) Hensala of Cheyenne, Donna Fulmer of Laramie, Pat (Brian) Wittman of Akron, OH and John (Brenda) Roby of Lincoln, NE; her sister, Marion (Jerry) Schmidt of Billings, MT; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
