LeAnna F. Nelson

LeAnna Fern Nelson was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma February 17, 1970. She lived in Ardmore, OK, Gainsberg, TX, Rock Springs, WY, Baggs, WY and Rawlins, WY. She met the love of her life, Donald Nelson Jr., in 1991 in Rock Springs, WY and married him in Baggs, WY on July 8th 1995. She enjoyed her job as the Assistant Manager in Family Dollar. She received several Employee Excellence Awards! Passed away on January 15th, 2025 in Rawlins, WY at home. 

LeAnna enjoyed camping, riding in the Ranger, playing games and reading. 

She will be missed by her husband Donald Nelson Jr, Aunt Jennifer Reed, Aunt Joyce, Sister Holly, Brother Russell & Millie Walker, Brother-in-Law Edward Woodward & Sister-in-Law Terri Woodward, Brother-in-Law Doug Pierce & Sister-in-Law Pamela Pierce. Nieces and Nephews- Joey and Tommy Walker, Austin, Charles & Christy Bell, Jeff & Theresa Haag, and David and Jessica Grissom. Great Nieces and Nephews- Kristin Bluth, James Bell, Kalynn Arey and Dawson Haag. Great-Great Nephews- Jackson Bluth. 

LeAnna will be cremated and her ashes will be spread over the area where her mom’s ashes were spread, spread where her father is laid to rest and the rest will be put on the plot where her and her husband will be laid to rest in Baggs Cemetery.
