LB Brantner

LB "Linda" Brantner, age 64, of Bairoil went home to the Lord at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2015. She was born to parents Curtis and Helen (Phillips) Blumer on July 28, 1950 in Albia, Iowa. She was raised in Iowa and has been a resident of Wyoming for the past 20 years. LB had a servant heart and was very active in community activities. She will be remembered for her kindness, her caring heart, and as a person who always put others before herself. She was known for her work ethic and sense of humor which she passed on to her children--Jason (Jodi) Overturf, John (Amanda) Ware, Danielle (Shawn) Leonard, and Caleb Brantner. In addition to her children, LB is survived by two brothers, Michael and Don Blumer; and six grandchildren-- Glenn, Holli, Kylie, Tressa, Curtis, and Travis. Also surviving are two grand dogs, and numerous pets. LB was very proud of all her grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, and her brother, Jimmy. A memorial open house will be held at Carbon County Funeral Home, 702 W. Walnut Street, Rawlins, WY on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Donations to help defray the cost of her final expenses may be made to the family in care of John Ware, 305 E. 3rd Street, Pella, Iowa, 50219.
