Kevin J. Webb, 45, of Rawlins, died Feb. 16, 2012, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper after being treated for head trauma after a fall at home. He was born November 3, 1966 in Payne, Ohio, to Kim and Loretta Webb. He graduated from New Haven High School and received a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and later received a master's degree in business from LeTourneau University. He married Christiane Wurzinger, a native of Kindsberg, Austria, on April 16, 1994, at a ceremony in Chicago. They have lived in various locations in Europe and the United States. For the past 11 years, they lived in Germany where Kevin worked for Caterpillar Logistics as a facility manager and received the chairman's award for excellence. They moved to Rawlins in 2011 for a correctional officer job at the Wyoming State Penitentiary. Out of respect for Kevin, the Department of Corrections flag is flying at half-mast. He enjoyed historical readings, classical music, classic rock, hiking with his family and cooking pasta dishes. His favorite book of the Bible was James. He had a large collection of firearms used for casual target practice with his oldest son. He is survived by his widow, Christiane; sons, Zac and Elias; mother, Loretta; step-father, Rus Etzler; step-sister, Debbie; and various other relatives and friends. Memorial services are to be held in Ohio and Rawlins at later dates. Cremation is being handled by Rostad Mortuary. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Church of the Nazarene in Casper, the Wyoming Medical Center ICU or Hospice International.
