June Johnson

On the evening of July 17, 2014, June Vessey Johnson passed away at Kindred Nursing Home after a brief stay, in Rawlins, Wyo. June was 77 years old. June was born in Ronan, Mont. on June 22, 1937. She was the eldest daughter of Russell M. Vessey and Lydia Alice Starkel Vessey. She graduated high school in Ronan in 1955. She married Richard Keith Johnson, on March 12, 1958. Richard passed away in 1981. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Vessey of Missoula, Mont.; sister Annette Garvin of Spokane, Wash.; daughters Robyn Taylor and husband Rod of Rawlins, Wyo., and Susan Zahn of Tyrone, Okla.; grandchildren Ryan Taylor of Washington, D.C., Brandon Taylor and wife Callie, of Sinclair, Wyo., Alyssa Stolns and husband Daniel of Rawlins, Wyo., Jessica Schurman and Justin Schurman of Tyrone, Okla.; great-grandchildren Bryce and Derek Stolns, Jack and Abigail Taylor, and David Schurman. June will be interned next to the love of her life, her late husband, Richard, in Ronan, Mont.
