A Memorial Service for Jesse A Sandoval is set for 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 09, 2012, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 2825 Wagon Circle Road in Rawlins, Wyoming. Son-in-law Peter Larson will be presiding. A dinner for all will be served immediately following at the Rawlins Depot. Jesse A Sandoval, our beloved father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, a grandfather, a friend and a confidant has fallen asleep in death on Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Rawlins, Wyoming. He is the son of Rose and Albert Sandoval, born May 3, 1941 in El Paso, Texas. He grew up in Rawlins, Wyoming where he graduated from the Rawlins High School in 1960 and later moved to Denver, Colorado to continue his education and worked as a draftsman for the Colorado Highway Department. In Denver with his wife Lorraine (formerly Romero from Rawlins) they started their family and had five children. Upon returning to Rawlins in 1974 he strapped on his carpenter's belt. He enjoyed reading, studying, praying, fishing and association with family and friends. Survivors include five children: Jesse Sandoval Jr. - wife Julie, Andrea Shepard - husband Troy, Thersea Larson - husband Peter, Kathy Shepard - husband Wally, and Keith Sandoval - wife Katherine; 15 grandchildren: Jesse Joseph "JJ" Sandoval , Pamela Sandoval, Sonya Sandoval, Cody Sandoval, Chaz Avilia, Jezria Collins, Charel Coleman , Oriana Gettman , Devin Shepard , Andrew "AJ" Larson , Nathan Durfey , Coulten Shepard, Arielle Shepard, Kegan Sandoval, and Kastle Sandoval; 25 great-grandchildren: Shayla, Anthony, Alex, Jess, Erabella, Isaac, Eli, Trezdon, Kenzia, Jaxon, Makenna, Shaylynn, Grayson, Asher, Kaydon, Quinlan, Dalton, Blayne, Gaige, Carmen, Hunter, Royal, Rome, Kenna, and Kyler; three siblings: Marie Lefevre - husband John, Judy McDermott - husband David, and Robert "Bobby" Sandoval - wife Darlena; and a loving Aunt and many Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Innumerable Friends! He was preceded in death by his parents; three grandchildren, Brittney Sandoval, Ginger Sandoval, and P. Jeromy Larson; and a brother, Hernado Torres. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Mr. Sandoval's memory to NAMI-Wyoming, P.O. Box 1883, Casper, WY 82602. Carbon County Funeral Home is assisting the family.
