Jeff Walton

Jeff Walton was born to Ira and Bonnie Walton (Vinyard) on July 25, 1963, in Sheridan, Wyoming and passed away July 3, 2022 in Carbon County at the age of 58.

He is survived by his buddy and Wife of 20 years, Kyle Walton, Mother Bonnie Walton, Sister Mary Kay Gonzales (Joe), Sister Laura Spilski (Nels), Daughter Joelyn Schinkel (Kevin), Son Travis Schinkel (Jessica), Granddaughter Sarah Blevins, Twin Grandchildren Declan, and Delaney Schinkel and his beloved dogs.

Other surviving family members include Niece Kelli Walton (Tonya), Niece Heather Walton-Blanden (Sherman), Nephew Scott Walton (Amy), Nephew Josh Walton (Shannon), Nephew Corey Spilski (LeeAnn), Nephew Chris Spilski (Terri), Niece April Gonzales, and numerous Great and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Ira and Beulah Walton, Maternal Grandparents Claude and Maude Irwin, Father Ira Walton, Brothers David Walton and Gary Walton, and Son Jeremy Collier.

A funeral procession for law enforcement and family will begin at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, on the west side of Rawlins, processing through town to the High School Fine Arts Auditorium, where a Memorial Tribute will be held at 10:00 AM.  A reception will follow at the Jeffrey Memorial Community Center where lunch will be served.
