Jamie Campbell

January 18, 1971 — July 10, 2014

Jamie Shawn (Jaure) Campbell, 43, of Hanna, WY, passed away July 10, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County due to complications arising from bleeding ulcers. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hanna Recreation Center, followed by a luncheon. Jamie was born January 18, 1971 in Buffalo, WY. She will be remembered for her fierce and unconditional love for her children, family and friends. She lived life with her heart and will be remembered in spirit for standing by her convictions and never backing down. She dedicated her life trying to right all the wrongs of the world: whether it was by opening her home to those needing a place to go or a meal to eat, to caring for abused and neglected animals. Jamie personally took responsibility for all these things. She left us last Thursday because she physically could no longer keep up with all that her heart and soul wanted to do. She will be missed by many people and creatures big and small. "The brightest flame burns quickest" - Metallica She is survived by her husband, Sean Campbell and their twin girls, Amy and Madison Campbell of Hanna; son, Shawn LaSelle of Rock Springs; her parents, Charlie and Kathleen Jaure of Riverton; younger sister, Amy (Martin) O'Leary of San Francisco, CA; her brother, Chuck (Erica) Jaure of Rawlins; grandmothers, Joan Jaure of Rawlins and Marion Rochelle of Cheyenne; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Kat Vialpando of Laramie; brothers-in-law, Ryan (Crystal) Campbell of Greensboro, NC, currently serving in Qatar, Jeff Campbell of Sheridan, Carlos (Tana) Sanchez and Benjamin Sanchez of Laramie; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends - whom she loved and considered her extended family. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Leo Jaure and Curtis Rochelle; and grandmothers, Jamie Rochelle and Virginia Rochelle, all of Rawlins. In-lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to your favorite animal shelter.
