James Spurk

James Spurk, 60, formerly of Warren, Ohio passed away Friday March 27, 2020 in Rawlins, Wyoming.

He was born March 30, 1959, in Warren, a son of the late Raymond and Ethel Spurk.

James was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School where he enjoyed playing football for the Panthers.  He worked at MVG Inc in Niles, a company his family owned until he got hurt.

He enjoyed acting in movies, even if he didn't get paid.  He always said by doing movies he will always be remembered.  He was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan; he didn't care if they won or not, he would always root for them.  He also enjoyed spending time with his children.

He is survived by his two children, Jason Spurk and Melanie Spurk.  He also leaves behind his sisters, Debra Pollcino and Kathy (Bobby) Parker.

Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by his son Eric Spurk and a sister Charlene Davis.

A memorial of his life will be set up in the future.

Never Say Goodbye

Even though I have many tears in my eyes, I refuse to say the words goodbye.  I know you would understand dad, because I know our souls will meet again.  Even though I know your body is put to rest, your beautiful spirit is how I'll remember you the best.

Your laughter will be heard for years to come, just by telling the jokes you use to share with everyone.  Nothing will ever take your place as the days, months, and years pass by, just like the stars in the sky.  The love in my heart for you dad will never die.

I came to you late last night,

to be with you while you slept.

I lay my head on your pillow,

while next to me you wept.

A gentle smile kissed your lips,

As I wiped away a tear.
