Fredrick Edward "Ed" Woodward, 84, of Rawlins passed away peacefully on Dec. 10, 2016 at his residence with wife by his side. He was born May 11, 1932 in Tulsa, OK to parents Leona (Ernie) and Arthur Woodward. Ed served in the National Guard for 15 months and the U.S. Navy for three years. He had an extreme passion for auctioneering, having volunteered to hold many auctions and being the founder and president of Woodward & Associates, Inc. until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the Shriner's, the Blue Lodge No. 5, the NRA and the BPOE Elks Club. He enjoyed golf, bronco busting, watching the Denver Broncos and doing woodwork. He is remembered as a loving and caring man to all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of forty years, Lorraine Woodward of Rawlins; brother, Bill Woodward of Rawlins; daughter, Lory (Steve) Kunsky of Rawlins; son, Michael Wyrick of Rawlins; nephews, Gary of Rawlins, Dave of Casper, Bob of Green River and Jim of Washington; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of Rawlins. He was preceded in death by his parents. At Ed's request, no services will be held. The family would like to name Gary Woodward, Bob Woodward, Dave Woodward, Jim Woodward, Dante Kunsky, Mike Wyrick and Jerrod Kunsky as Honorary Pallbearers in memory of Ed.
