Donna Day

Donna J. Day, resident of Hanna, Wyoming, formerly of Peoria, Illinois, passed away peacefully October 22, 2019 in Rawlins, Wyoming at the age of 86 years. She was born July 9, 1933 in Sorento, IL. She married Henry Harrison Day, Jr. on January 23, 1954. She worked as clerk typist for IPMR in Peoria, IL, for over 25 years. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing in Wyoming. She enjoyed sewing quilts and embroidery. She will be sadly missed by her children Cindy Schuck of Spring Valley, IL; Stephen (Leora) of Mapleton, IL; Brenda Dillree of Peoria, IL; Debra (Phil) of Peoria, IL; and Mark (Sonja) Day of Creve Coeur, IL; grand-children Heather Sandvik of Goreville, IL; Carter Day of Mapleton, IL; Amira Day also of Mapleton, IL; Tammy Livingston and Scott Kemp of Peoria, IL; Julie Fawcett of East Peoria, IL; Kevin Purkel of Peoria, IL; Anthony Witherell of Washington, IL; and Logan Day currently enlisted in the Marines, and great-grandchildren Wesley Fawcett, Emalynne Fawcett, Zachary Fawcett, Allen and Cadence Witherell. She was preceded in death by Henry Day. A gravesite service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Saratoga Cemetery In Saratoga, Wyoming.
