Adelita "Della" Bucher, 95, longtime resident of Wyoming, passed away October 2, 2016 in Rawlins, Wyoming following a brief illness. Della was born September 17, 1921 in San Pedro California, daughter of Vincente and Clara Graham Ramos. Della grew up in the Los Angeles California area. In 1973 she married J.W. (Jack) Bucher in Thermopolis. The couple moved to Rawlins in 1977. The majority of Della's ancestors migrated to southern California from Baja California. Family history dates back to the late 1600's in Baja. Della vividly told stories of the early days of San Pedro, San Juan Capistrano, and of her family members who were longshoremen in the Long Beach Harbor. Della and Jack operated the Laundry in Rawlins for many years before retirement. They spent they spare time and retirement years camping, hunting, and fishing. Rocking hunting on the Sweetwater Agate Flats was their favorite pastime. She is survived by niece Mitzi Canady; three step-children, Donald V. Bucher of Seattle, Amy Robinson of Thermopolis, Allen (Alissa) Bucher of Littleton Colorado; 10 Grandchildren; and 13 Great Grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents, 8 siblings, step-son Gary, grandson Curtis Martinez, and her husband Jack Bucher. A family memorial was held on October 21, 2016.
