David Wayne McNett

Medicine Bow, WY

David McNett, 71, of Medicine Bow, WY passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2024. Dave is survived by his wife: Karen, brothers: Steve (Melinda), Ed (Diane), and Grady (Karen), children: Ened (Orion), Betty (Travis), Jason, and Corie (Gregg), grandchildren: Ozara, Tanner, Arjuna, many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by loving parents, George and Maxine.

  Dave served in the Vietnam War, Army and later in the Coast Guard Reserves. Received associate’s degree in criminology from Grays Harbor College, in Washington. Worked for Elma, WA Police Department and retired from Simpson Door Company.

  Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family, wood carving, carpentry, cartooning, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with the Patriot Guard of Casper.

 Dave was a kind, generous, loving man who adored children and helped everyone he could. Many people depended on him for help, and he will be missed very much.

 Celebration of Life to take place on October 5, 2024 at 2pm, at the Medicine Bow Senior Center, 520 Utah St., Medicine Bow, WY. Officiated by Karla Kendall.

 A Celebration of Life will also be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM (Pacific time) at the McCleary Community Center, 726 W. Simpson Avenue, McCleary, Washington 98557.

 In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to his favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/donate) or the Medicine Bow Senior Center.
