David Cruz

David Cruz, 67, of Rawlins, Wy. passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021, while visiting family and friends at the Battle Creek area of the Medicine Bow National Forest.

David loved camping and fishing and he died where he was most happy. David worked throughout his life in the construction field. His expertise was in concrete work as a cement finisher.

David was born on October 23, 1953, to Jacob and Gregorita (Grace) Cruz.  David is survived by his brothers, Eugene Cruz, Leroy Cruz, Benjamin (Sarah) Cruz, Herman Cruz and sisters, Frances Archuleta and Sylvia Montoya. Also, his sisters-in-law, Ruby Cruz and Beverly Cruz. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers; Neddy Cruz, Ernest Cruz, Gilbert Cruz and sisters Fidencia Bustos and Charlotte Martinez. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces who loved him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified when the date is finalized.
