Darold Adams

Darold Wayne Adams, age 91 of Rawlins, WY, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the VA Hospital in Cheyenne. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents: John Henry and Frances Pearl (Mathews) Adams; his son, Jimmy Adams; brothers: Jim and John Adams; sister, Norma and various aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Darold was also widowed three times. First, Lillian, the mother of Jimmy; then Frances SueAnne who was the mother of Carl and Frances "Sissy" Adams, and then again, when his third wife, Fran, passed away. Darold comes from a large family of love, and those who are left to grieve him will feel the void. He could do anything. He could fix most anything. Darold used those talents when he came back from serving honorably in the US Army. He worked on oil rigs and in the oil fields. He knew what valves to turn in order to make the machines work properly. He did excellent repair work. After having retired from Black Hills, which was based out of Gillette, Darold moved back home to Rawlins. Darold is survived by his daughter, Frances Violet "Sissy" Adams; and his son, Carl Stanley. Darold has two grandchildren: Dakota and Rayne Adams. He is also survived by his sisters: Dolores Weber and Lynn Ball, dear cousin Ann Taylor, and many more loving relatives. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 11am, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the Rawlins Cemetery. Jacoby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
