Damian Michael Farrar, 36, of Rawlins, passed away July 9, 2015. He was born July 10, 1978, in Douglas, WY, to parents Donice M. (Algren) and Roger D. Farrar. A Memorial Service with military honors will be held on Tues. July 14, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. at Harvestime Ministries, 822 W. Walnut St. Rawlins, WY. Damian graduated from Flinthills High School in Rosalia, KS in 1996. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Defense and was part of the initial renewal of the Commanding General's Mounted Color Guard at Fort Riley, KS. He was employed as an Inspector for the Sinclair Refinery and was a respected welder throughout the welding and pipefitting industry. His hobbies included fishing, camping, working with rock and leather and most of all, loving his wife and children. He is remembered as a devoted father, son, brother, son-in-law and brother-in-law. He was a tough cowboy who is remembered by his military friends as an "Ogre". Survivors include his wife, Jessica; son, Wyatt; daughters, Andreya, Madison and Faith; father, Rod; step-mother, Jan Farrar; sister, Whitney; brothers, Will, Wade and Ryan; mother and father-in-laws, David and Lori Hyink and Daniel and Marcy Danen; brother-in-law, Benjamin (Veronica) and their children; cousins, Casey and Tracy Wright; aunt and uncle, Denzel and Steve Wright; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his birth-mother, Donice Algren; grandfather, Walter Farrar; and grand-father-in-law, Vernon Hardt.
