Cordie (Lucy) Pacheco, 72, of Rawlins, Wyoming passed away March 28, 2016. She was born on January 2, 1944 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to parents Augustin and Josie Romero. A Vigil Service with recitation of the Rosary will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Sam Hayes as the Celebrant. Pallbearers will be James Baca, Danny Ochoa, Chris Ochoa, Anthony Baca, Josh Martinez, and Nehemiah Gomez. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabriel Palmer, Thomas Bustos, Alfonso Bustos, Tracy Palmer, Max Wallace, and Axsel Burress. Interment will follow in the Rawlins Cemetery. Cordie was employed for many years as a certified nursing assistant. She enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, camping, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a loving and caring person who was full of life. Survivors include her husband, Jesse Pacheco; her daughter, Cindy (Max) Wallace; her sisters, Rose (Eric) Erickson and Cecelia Ochoa; grandchildren, Angie (Tracy) Palmer, Natalie Gomez (Axsel Burress), and Juan Garcia Jr.; great-grandchildren, Alfonso and Thomas Bustos and Gabriel Palmer; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustin and Josie Romero; her brothers, Jody Romero, Melvin Romero, Jimmy Baca, Alfred Trujillo, and DannyTrujillo; and her grandson, Michael J. Pacheco.
