Clark R. Whitson, 68, of Rawlins passed away Nov. 12, 2015. He was born Jan. 23, 1947 in Rawlins to parents Art and Golda Whitson. Services will be held on Mon. Nov. 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 800 23rd St. Rawlins, WY. Pastors Mike Holmes and Sharon Langfeldt will officiate. Interment with military honors will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rawlins Cemetery. Clark attended Rawlins High School and Casper College and was a Certified Surveyor. He served in U.S. Army National Guard and had worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, Union 76, Arch Mineral and ended his career with the B.L.M. His hobbies included hiking, shooting, arrowhead hunting, researching Carbon County history, being outside and laughing with friends. He is remembered as a loving husband, best friend, outdoorsman and Grandpa & Father, "Fuzz". Survivors include his wife, Joanne; son, Rocky; grandchildren, Lexy, Kacy and Holden; great-grandson, Abel Dean; and daughter-in-law, Tami. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Claudia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Pet Partners of Carbon County, P.O. Box 4000, Rawlins, WY 82301.
