Cipriano Sanchez

Cipriano (Cippi) Sanchez Jr., 69, of Rawlins, Wyoming passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on June 24, 2023 in Laramie, Wyoming. Cippi was born on January 14, 1954 to Cipriano Sr. and Helen Sanchez in Taos, New Mexico. He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Rosie (Sisneros) Sanchez, on November 18, 1972 in Rawlins, WY. Cippi started his career as a Track Laborer for the Union Pacific Railroad and later retired as a Welder Track Foreman after 36 years of service. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, gambling, and cooking. He made the best green chili. He loved cruising around town and having morning coffee with Pete, Bill, and Randy. He enjoyed visiting with everyone and made new friends everywhere he went. He loved visiting and hanging out with his little buddy, Carter. Cippi especially loved his family and spending time with them. He had a very special bond with his brothers and sisters with whom he spoke to everyday. His grandkids were his world and he loved watching them play sports. He was preceded in death by his father, Cipriano Sanchez Sr., his mother, Helen Sanchez; his brothers, Levino Pacheco, J.B. Pacheco, Moises Sanchez; and his sisters, Carmen Bailon and Berlinda Sanchez. Cippi is survived by his wife, Rosie (Sisneros) Sanchez, of 50 years; his brothers, John (Eva) Sanchez, Phil (Elsie) Sanchez; and his sisters, Olivia Pearman and Judy (Brian) Stenum). He is also survived by his children, Angela Sanchez, Melissa Sanchez, Nicole (Tony) Maravilla, Liz Sanchez, and Corey (Andrea) Sanchez; his grandkids, Kyliah (Cameron), Dominic, Angel, Aven, Raiden, and Anya; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Rawlins Cemetery. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 7:00 PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church
