Remembering Christian Moore……………………..
Christian Matthew Moore (Bubba) was born the 20th of December, 1992. He brought immense joy into the world that winter and he spread that joy everywhere he went for over 27 years. Many in his family were told for much of his life all about the many things that he would not be able to do. Just as readily, Christian did not put much stock in what outsiders may have thought and lived and enjoyed his life, nonetheless. Not a believer in the can’ts and the won’ts, Christian was determined to fulfill his goals and live his life on his own terms. He graduated from Rawlins High School and became a highly valued and more than essential fixture in local retail, with a little smirk that is well known by all who were close to him, letting us know he was getting away with something. Christian had a rare purity that freed him from the ugliness and judgement of the world. He was not naïve, he simply did not have time for it; he was busy working and lightening the load of others with his jokes, making small talk, but above all, staying positive. In this way, he was the best kind of difference maker in the lives of so many that he worked with and served within the community. He was the cause of so many smiles and contagious goodness that he will live on with each and all he touched. Christian really enjoyed gaming with his friends, online and in the community. He was an avid fan of metal music, movies – especially animated films and horror, great food, and above all great company. If it were up to him it would be Halloween year-round and he would vacation on Cybertron. Christian loved family gatherings and gave the best hugs. His embrace was more than firm, as if he tried to squeeze the love he had for you into you, one hug at a time.
Christian passed away in his home March 31, 2020. He is survived by his parents Mara and Steve Sanger, sisters Hannah Sanger and Makayla Sanger, his grandparents Carol Moore, Christine Sanger, and Larry Moore (Tom Judy), his great aunt Michelle Moore (Mark Dennis), aunts and uncles Travis and Jennifer Moore and Paul and Lisa Sanger and cousins Alex Moore, Megan Sanger, Eric Sanger, Ryan Olson and Rachel Judy. Christian will also be dearly missed by many friends, co-workers, and many in the community.
One of Christian’s recent favorite quotes reads, “I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it’s the thing I like the most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It’s probably the most important thing in a person.” Audrey Hepburn
The family will have a private memorial, but arrangements will be made online for all who loved him to share stories and fond memories.
The family would like any donations to go to Autism Speaks.
