Charlene S. Collier, 77, passed away September 29, 2016 in Rawlins. Mrs. Collier was born in Rawlins on January 28, 1939 to the late Charles and Blanche Hooven Lentz. She graduated from Rawlins High School in 1957 and attended the University of Wyoming for two years. Working as an executive secretary at Sinclair Oil Refinery until 1967, she then became a full time mother to her children actively participating in the PTA. Her hobbies included sewing, ceramics, planning class reunions, being a prankster and baking. She was caring, kind and generous to those in time of need and was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Marcene Corlew and Patricia Woodhouse and a grandchild, Jeremy Collier. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Wendell Collier; two daughters, Wendy (Dennis) Collins and Kimberly Collier; son, Marc (Tanya) Collier; and six grandchildren, Jacob Collier, Marissa Collier, Alexis Collier, Ryan Collier, Justin Collier and Madeline Milazzo. A private family service was held in the Snowy Range Mountains on October 4, 2016. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
