Chantel Hanson

Chantel Nadine Hanson was born November 2, 2013 and was granted her angel wings on December 20, 2014. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that "Little Nadine", as she was called by her grandfather, had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life. Her gentle smile, tiny fingers and baby soft skin brought so much joy to her family. Although she was tiny and frail, she gave her family courage and strength and reminded them of the preciousness of life. She loved cuddling close to those that loved her so much. "Little momma", as she was also fondly called by her aunts, spent most of her life in and out of hospitals. Her godparents, Ceiley and Dale Andreen, enjoyed taking her to the Fire Dept. in Thermopolis to show her off. Nadine is survived by her loving parents, Misty Ann Koroulis and Rick Hanson of Thermopolis, WY; maternal grandfather, Mike Koroulis of Rawlins, WY; paternal grandparents, Gary Hanson of England and Karen Lindell of Brush CO; siblings, Kelby Sanchez of Goodland, KS; Kody Hanson of Jetmore, KS, and Cory and Aaron Hanson of Platteville, CO; and numerous aunts and uncles. Nadine was going to be a big sister to her unborn sibling, Jayden Hanson. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nadine Koroulis; great-grandparents, George and Catharine Koroulis; and aunt, Melissa Boswell-Clingman. Visitation with viewing will be held December 26, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Carbon County Funeral Home, 702 West Walnut Street in Rawlins with graveside services for this tiny angel immediately following afterwards at 11:00 a.m. in the Rawlins Cemetery. D.C. Davis will officiate. Pallbearers for the service will be Junior Boswell, Wesley Thomas, Donnie London, and Adam Bean. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Koroulis, Art Christenson, Gary Hanson and Chris Matern.
