Carolyn Virginia Huebsch of Rawlins, Wyoming passed away on November 13, 2016 surrounded by her family in Saratoga, Wyoming. Carolyn was born January 17th 1950 in North Carolina to Elizabeth and Thomas Sawyer. She was one of five children born to the family. She graduated from James Blair High school in 1968. Her and Mark Huebsch were united in marriage on November 25th, 1969 in Elizabeth City North Carolina. Carol and Mark made their home in Carroll Iowa, where they raised their three daughters. Carol was a homemaker, worked at Prenger's Furniture, and The Best Western Motel. Carol also worked at True Value of Rawlins prior to falling ill. Mark and Carol divorced in 1993. After their divorce, Carol opened up her own antique and refinishing shop in Breda Iowa called Pine Floor Antiques. In 2000, Carol moved out to Wyoming. In 2009, she moved to Virginia to take care of her father. She returned to Rawlins Wyoming in 2012 to be close to her eldest daughters. Carol enjoyed shopping, antiques, junking, and most of all, her grandchildren. Carol is survived by her three daughters; Becky (Ben) Smith of Rawlins Wyoming, Jenny Ross of Rawlins Wyoming, and Nancy (Andy) Snyder of Halbur Iowa, her four siblings all of Virginia, and the most important of all, her seven granchildren; Bryony Ross, Hayden Ross, Henry Smith, Ferris Smith, Wyatt Snyder, Porter Snyder, and Evan Snyder. A celebration of life will be on November 23, 2016 at the Church of Christ 403 E Walnut Street in Rawlins, Wyoming. Preacher Michael Breshears will be performing a prayer service at 11:00 am. A luncheon will follow after the prayer service. At Carol's request, she will be cremated. A family service will be held at a later time in Carroll Iowa. In Lieu of flowers, Carol has requested donations be made in her name to Cheyenne Regional Home Away from Home or Saratoga Platte Valley Medical Clinic "Corbett Memorial Fund".
