Carol Diane Herrera (48), of Rawlins, WY passed away on November 1, 2022, in Reno, NV.
Carol was born on October 16, 1974, in Fort Bliss, TX to George and Patsy Herrera. Carol attended Rawlins High School where she completed the 11th grade. Carol worked in many different fields from the construction trade, to housekeeping, to motel front desk clerk.
Carol married Lee LeNoir in 1996. On April 12, 1997, they welcomed their daughter, Aleigha Anna Marie LeNoir. Carol and Lee later divorced. On August 6, 2003, Carol welcomed her second daughter, Keona Star Herrera.
Carol will be remembered for her strength, contagious laughter, and willingness to always go on new adventures. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone that knew her, but most of all she was a selfless mother who wanted the best for her two daughters.
Carol was preceded in death by her grandparents Mary and Alfred Abeyta, and Mercy and Alfred Herrera.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Aleigha (Tyler) Oyler and Keona Herrera. Parents, George (Genieve) Herrera and Patsy Abeyta Herrera. Brother, Bert (Missy) Herrera and Sister, Georgeann (Mike) Martinez. Niece, Amanda (KC) Ramsey, and Nephews, Joshua (Theresa) Herrera, Adrien Quintana, Gabe Martinez, and Jadon Martinez. Great-nephews, LJ Medina, Josiah Medina, Roland Quintana, and Jaxson Herrera, and Great-niece, Olyvia Herrera. And many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
