Calvin Raymond Schisel, 62, of Hanna, passed away Sept. 17, 2013. He was born Jan. 26, 1951, in Antigo, WI, to parents Erma Mae (Piper) and Raymond Louis Schisel. He grew up in Hanna, WY, where he attended school and graduated from Hanna / Elk Mountain High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 until being honorably discharged in 1972. Calvin then went to work for Rosebud Coal Co. as a surveyor, where he continued for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars, hunting, fishing and camping. He was also an avid fan of the Wyoming Cowboys and Denver Broncos. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathy Hayes; brother, Johnny Schisel; granddaughter, Nicolette Romero; and a sister-in-law, Patty Forbis. Survivors include his wife of over 31 years, Lorinde M. Schisel; five children: Vivian (Leonard) Gonzales, Michael (Shana) Romero, Joseph Romero, Matthew Schisel, and Evelyn Schisel; 14 grandchildren: Paul, Christian, Hanna, Zachariah, Leilani, Dylan, Anastasia, Kaitlyn, Hunter, Riley, Maddie, Jenna, Darby, and Ireland; two great-grandchildren: Julianna and Jinayah; three brothers: Terry Schisel, Ronnie Schisel, and David Schisel; a sister, Cora Bauman; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will take place on Thurs. Sept. 26, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Hanna. A luncheon and reception will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hanna.
