Betty Jo Truman, a resident of Rawlins, Wyoming, passed away on December 16, 2021 at Rawlins Rehab and Wellness at the age of 86 years old.
She was born on the family homestead in Little Lighting Creek in Niobrara County, Wyoming on July 31, 1935. She graduated from Manville High School in 1953 and was married to Dale M. Truman on October 31, 1953 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She worked at Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon where she retired and then at Epson followed by the Dollar Tree in Cedar Mill, Oregon. She also volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital in Cedar Mills, Oregon.
She will be sadly missed by her brother, Bob Eutsler of California, Children: Rhonda M. Truman of Warington, Oregon, Marton D. Truman of Rawlins, Wyoming, Rodger D. Truman of Rawlins, Wyoming, Grandchildren: Marton W. McCroskey, Justin D. Truman, Summer D. Truman, Robert Smith, Joseph Hammell, Samuel Hammell, Carl McCroskey, Dale McCroskey, Samuel D. Hammell, Jr., Josie Hammell, and Esaia Hammell, Great Grandchildren: Rose Mae Smith, Shawna M. Smith, Bethany A. Smith, Makayla Hammell, and Angel Hammell.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Dale M. Truman, sisters Billie Arnold, Bertha Sipes, Mary Deuel, Pat Trout, and brothers Jim Eutsler, Dick Eutsler, and Ted Eutsler.
Betty Jo will be laid to rest at Skyline Memorial Gardens, Oregon at a later date.
