Archie DeHerrera, 89, of Rawlins, passed away May 2, 2018, at the Casper Hospice Center with his family by his side. He was born Oct. 12, 1928, in Costilla, New Mexico, to Frank and Anna DeHerrera. He worked for Union Pacific for 45 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. His wife of 70 years, Evangelina Deherrera; daughters, Juanita Jackson and June DeHerrera-Montoya; and son Andy DeHerrera preceded Archie in death. He is survived by daughter Barbara Stutheit, of Caldwell, Idaho; son Anthony and Tammy DeHerrera, of Buffalo; daughter Bernadette and Brent Harris, of Green River; and multiple grandkids and great-grandkids. A vigil service with recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Sam Hayes as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Rawlins Cemetery.
