Antonio Leroy Vasquez

Antonio Leroy Vasquez was born in Chacon, New Mexico to Florintino and Antonia Vasquez.
Antonio grew up in New Mexico and that is where he met the love of his life Edna, they married on January 15, 1971. They had three children Antoinette, Beatrice and Leroy; Antonio moved his family to Rawlins in the winter of 1975 where he lived out the rest of his life.
Antonio enjoyed spending time with family and friends; his hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, and trips to New Mexico. Antonio worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 20 years, he was a very hard worker and always dedicated to supporting his family.
Antonio was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and overall a great person. He would do anything for anyone.
He is survived by his daughter Beatrice Vasquez Gonzales (Eloy Jr.) son Leroy Vasquez, grandchildren Mariah Farrington, Gabriel Gonzales, Nathan Vasquez, Serena Vasquez, Tiffany, Austin and Serephina Tomacelli, great grandchildren Presley Vasquez and Avayah Martinez, numerous brothers, sisters and extended family.
Antonio is preceded in death by his parents Florentino and Antonia Vasquez, his loving, caring wife Cordilia Edna Vasquez, his daughter Antoinette and son-in-law David Tomacelli, sister Jesusa Sanchez, brother Henry Vasquez and numerous nephews and nieces.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Services will be held on Wednesday November 4, 2020 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Rosary will begin at 10:00am, mass and burial to follow. No dinner due to Covid.
