Agnes E. Foster, a resident of Rawlins, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at her home on May 23, 2024, at the age of 86. Agnes was born in Bevier, Missouri, on December 25, 1937, to Elige and Lula Mae Riley.
On April 1, 1972, Agnes married Thomas E. Foster, and they shared 52 wonderful years together. Agnes was known for her warm heart and generous spirit, especially towards children. She had a nurturing presence that made everyone call her "mom" or "grandma." Agnes loved baking and took great joy in ensuring no child—or even her grown child (husband)—went hungry. Her face would light up with happiness as she watched others enjoy her cooking.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents Elige and Lula Mae Riley; her parents-in-law Margaret and Ernest Foster; her sisters Frances Smith, Mildred Lawrence, Vester Harris, Cordie Burkhart, Berdie Luck, Louise Lester, and Lois Nerini; her brothers Donald Riley, Aubrey (AKA Bob) Riley, and Eddie Riley; her grandsons Nathon Gallant and Wesley Replogle; and her great-grandson Curtis Kendrick.
Agnes is survived by her loving husband Thomas E. Foster; her siblings Bev (Richard) Walton of Bevier, MO, and Russell Riley; her children Cindy Drakken of Labelle, MO, David (Kim) Replogle of Mexico, MO, James (Dorothy) Replogle of Mexico, MO, Phillip (Roberta) Replogle of Mexico, MO Lisa (David) Trujillo of Westcliffe, CO, Margaret (Nathaniel) Quintrall of Rawlins, Ernie (Holly) Foster of Rawlins, and Earleen Cooper of Rawlins. She also leaves behind Agnes (Ron) Illiff and their 4 children of Rawlins as well as 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
